Nathaniel Bassey is one the finest musician of this present age in Nigeria. He hails from Akwa-Ibom but was raised in Lagos. He grew in a family of musician, his father taught him how to play the piano.
However as Nat, as he was fondly called grew, he found his love for trumpet and jazz music. He soon formed a group with friends and music was their thing being influenced by popular artists in the genre.
As God will have it, Nathaniel Bassey found God drawing him nearer and he was in the church serving at Redeemed Christian Church of God, City of David for a couple of years under the mentorship of his pastor, Eskor Mfon. There he learnt much more about his God-given talent and how to use it to the glory of the Master, in addition to talent and passion, he bagged multiples degrees in music as well
Nathaniel Bassey launched his gospel music career in 2008 with his debut album Elohim with the hit single Someone’s Knocking At The Door. Soon enough, Sons of God followed in 2014, This Good Is Too Good in 2016 and now, Revival Flames in 2017.
