Joshua Rogers Biography

Joshua Rogers (born March 22, 1994) is gospel artiste who became the winner of the fifth season of BET’s Sunday Best in 2012. He was the first male to win and also the youngest winner so far, being a winner of the series at the age of 18.
Rogers joined Mixed Bag Entertainment in 2016 as his record label working with Grammy Award-winning producer Black Elvis. The result of that deal is what leads to this new album “Returning”.

Early Life

Joshua as he fondly called, grew up in Greeleyville, South Carolina, USA. He grew up singing and playing the drums in The Apostolic Church which happens to be his grandmother’s church.

Education

Joshua Rogers is an alumnus of C.E Murray High School. He graduated from the college in 2012, the same year he won BET’s Sunday Best and dropped his debut album “Well Done”.

Discography

Joshua Rogers’ first album was “Well Done” which was released on December 4, 2012. The album featured songs Rogers performed on Sunday Best and made it to the top of Billboard chart.
On October 29, 2013, Rogers dropped his second album titled “Unconditional“. The song got to the top 2 on the Billboard chart.
The third album is titled “Returning“, which is a comeback after the 5 years break Joshua Rogers took from recording album.
The album is released on September 28, 2018
