Gospel singer and vocal powerhouse Latice Crawford has announced plans to release her sophomore project titled Diary of a Church Girl. The forthcoming is a five-track EP (Extended Play).
Crawford came into national prominence as a finalist in season 2 of BET’s hit singing competition Sunday Best where she finished as second runner up. She release her self-titled debut project in 2014 which peaked at #12 on Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums Chart.
Latice Crawford says:
“I hope when they hear the songs of my own struggles and my desire to be accepted and loved in the midst of loss, I hope they too will find purpose and comfort—and ultimately finding all of that in God.”
Diary of a Church Girl features writing from Crawford and produced by Bruce Robinson, The new project is led by the single “Author”. which is currently impacting gospel radio. “Author” is being celebrated by fans and critics alike.
Diary of a Church Girl is available for pre-order at all digital outlets and will be in stores on May 20, 2016.
