A powerful and highly in demand worshiper, Tasha Cobbs’ music ministry is a gift to all who experience it – and on October 13 she will unleash a new body of work at the live recording for her as-yet-untitled 2015 sophomore album release. The recording will take place at The Redemption Center in Greenville, South Carolina, and is destined to be a life changing event.
“We all have heard the saying that you ‘appreciate something more when you invest in it’. If you’ve sacrificed and invested in order to get there, you’re not coming as a spectator, you’re coming to actively participate in the worship experience,” says Cobbs.
“I’ve noticed that God always sends me places that require a sacrifice in order for one to attend,” she says about recording in South Carolina. “I had the opportunity to minister at Redemption Center a few months ago and I knew immediately that I was going to record there. Apostle Carpenter and the Redemption Church have been very gracious to open their church doors to us.”
VaShawn Mitchell, who also produced Cobbs’ debut album, is producing the recording – which will feature guest artists Jamie Grace and Bishop Paul Morton.
Cobbs says of this project: “It is going to be in the same vein as ‘Grace.’ It will be a collection of worship songs that will enhance and provoke an atmosphere of worship no matter where you are.”
